In 1996, for the 100th Anniversary of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Pokfulam, Father organised a pilgrimage to Lourdes via Assisi and Rome.

The second stop was Rome, where Father brought the group to The Holy Stairs (above). Father can be seen at the extreme left of the photo, talking to members of the group before everyone ascended the stairs.
